The Suite

Jack Campbell

Beneath the earth, a fire rages hot,
A pit of hell, a place forgot,
Where flames burn bright, and souls are caught,
In the eternal fires of greed and thought.
For here lies a suite, a room of gold,
A place of comfort for the greedy and bold,
A reward for those who wanted more,
A prize for those who hoarded and stored.
But the flames will lick and scorch the skin,
And the agony of greed will soon begin,
For though the suite may seem a prize,
It's a trap for those with greedy eyes.
The flames will never let you rest,
As the greed within you is put to the test,
And though the suite may seem so fine,
It's not worth the eternal fire of divine.

So beware of the fire pit of hell,
And the suite within that calls and compels,
For greed will only lead you down,
To an eternity of fire and flame abound.
