Atlantic and Pacific

rainycloud

To describe her is a forbidden task

Like a red velvet pod in an ocean of broken glass

Fluttering amidst the Atlantic and Pacific

Endless attempts of colliding

Because when she sinks its faster than the titanic

  • Comment from author about the poem: A boy wrote a poem for me once, he described me as indescribable and ''a red velvet pod'' (ihaveredhair) and it stuck with me every since. The Atlantic and pacific ocean can never mix and life endlessly feels like wishing for the impossible. A side is darker and one lighter, I attacted that to myself. But its always the need of trying and trying, to keep swimming so you dont drown. To keep trying the impossible so you dont die.
