Bird Free

Introverted Sage

Oh, to be free.

Free like a birdie.

Flying above

The mountains, seas and trees.

Making friends with bees.

Home within the leaves.

Seems to only

Occur in my dreams.

Gifted a bird.

Visions of birds.

Seeming to wake

Before we speak a word.

Dreams that come in thirds.

More wordless birds.

Starting to all

Sound a bit absurd.

But the stories are true.

Couldn't fudge if I wanted to.

Birds of all colors

White, black and blue.

Even pink and purple hued.

Move when I move.

Going where I do.

Happens all the time.

Tell the story.

They've lost their minds.

So I keep it inside.

It's better to hide.

After all the times I've tried.

No more dings to my pride.

As a bird

I just glide.

Spreading my wings far and wide.

A shelter for those

Who too

Hide themselves inside.

There's room for all who

Would like to see the world new

Being the One that's true.

Showing the real you.

You can do it too.

I believe in you!
