Tarr River Reservoir

PoetVids - I am WriteBeLight only in Video Version :)

Just beyond the calm,

The branches and debris,

Is an amazing drop,

Waterfall, misty breeze.

Transformed into foam,

Floating down the slide.

An angler stands calmly,

Fishing bank side.

The dam’s formidable control,

Over the water’s pace.

Look around and experience,

This beautiful place.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I stumbled upon this waterfall, which is the Tarr River Reservoir Dam in North Carolina, USA. Several years ago, the water was flood stage. Search this and you will be amazed how high the water was after much rainfall.
