Starry Night

AngelRavi

Half the world is asleep

With a blissful silence around

The queen left her throne

To the dazzling princess moon

Shimmering amidst the darkness

In the abyss of dark night

Shines the little stars

Like a scattered diamonds

From the silvery white plate

Studded in the far sky

Down there I'm standing

watching them blinking and winking

Coveting my heart

Without my sense

Losing myself in that enchanting sight

Of the soothing calm night

Wondering at the creativity of God

Who made this picturesque art

Murmuring the nostalgic rhyme

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

How I wonder what you are
