When it all fails

Life has been hard, a constant fight,
With obstacles that block the light,
A never-ending struggle to survive,
A test of strength to stay alive.

The road has been rocky, full of strife,
A journey that's taken a toll on life,
Trials and tribulations at every turn,
A path that's left us bruised and burned.

There have been days we couldn't cope,
Feeling like we've lost all hope,
With darkness closing in all around,
We wondered if we'd ever be found.

But through it all, we've persevered,
We've weathered storms that we once feared,
And though the scars may still remain,
We've learned to embrace the pain.

For it's in the struggles that we grow,
In the depths of darkness we learn to glow,
And though life may be hard, it's true,
It's made us stronger, me and you.
