Mental Inner Peace

Nathan Tent

Inner Peace

We cannot release

It is the biggest thing we have to fight

Yet it grows bigger like a fire’s light

The thing we do not get

And yet we are forever in its debt

Inner peace

It seemed it cant be deceased

In its place

World peace is our ace

We destroy it

And we admit defeat

We act to have fun

But in the end, we are done

Dread the end of time

And continue to climb

At the top, we feast

On this beast

Inner peace

It may just be deceased

While this may be

We are still not free

World peace is not

Our showpiece

Some go strait

And decide their fate

Some are

And keep getting stressed

Overall

Life is a brawl

For everyone

And for all

While we may be

We never shall see

That we are savage

Animals and beasts

We try and we try

To save other lives

We put them before us

And they trust

That just may be

The thing that we need

But it happens too often

And leads us to our coffin

While in our grave

We grieve and pray

Eternal life

Is the reason we fight.

Although it's tough

We might find the diamond in the rough

We can hang by a rope

Or we can have hope

You can try

And you can try

But you will still fail

And that alright

As long as you keep going

And find inner peace

You do not have to fret

You are now forever in its debt

If now or ever

You need to endeavor

You shall make a way

But cannot stay

You need to fight it

You do not need to hide it

If only you talked

Instead of walked

You must move forward

For your life and others

It is going to be ok

Life doesn't end here

Look forward to space

Not back on your mistakes

Inner peace

Must be a freak

This rhyme scheme is over

Just to let you know

You are love

And it will eventually show

We can hang by a rope or we can have hope , to me that was really deep I felt that .

    'At the top, we feast
    On this beast
    Inner peace
    It may just be deceased'
    so bleak

'We can hang by a rope
    Or we can have hope

    You can try
    And you can try
    But you will still fail
    And that alright

As long as you keep going
    And find inner peace'
    so life-affirmingly positive

thanks for sharing, a great read

Yes, rhyme scheme being over, rhyming may thus arise more naturally. Welcome to MPS, Nate.
