No Escape

To this fate we are tied

In either path we will still meet

It awaits us at the very end

Sometimes maybe surprisingly it comes

 

Don't try to run away

Only time matters anyway

If it is your season

It hears no pleading

 

Many have begged it

To go a little further

So they can meet it down yonder

Yet it heed not

 

Riches are nothing to bribe it

Poverty is nothing to compel it

Otherwise it offers no charity

There is no escape to such fate

 

All we do is waiting

Sometimes our fears running wild

Yet at the end of comes anyway

We are destined to this fate any -way
