Death Of A loved One

Nathan Tent

The day was fair

The wind blew my hair

But then it all went bad

It started to rain

I felt a pain

I went inside

While the wind blew by

Then a bad storm appeared

I woke up in a bed

Then the doctor said

Your parents did not make it

They are dead

I went to the store sad as can be

But then the alarms went off so I had to flee

I went to the library so I could read

Because when I read I feel free

I lay on the ground of a nearby sidewalk

And I found a toy that could talk

Later I felt bored

So I started to sleep on the floor

When I woke up I saw my dad

Then I realized it was not all bad

Then I see

It was a dream

I saw my mom

And I gleamed

Yet that was also a dream.

My parents are truly deceased
