Anxious.

lettersofminee

Fleeting eyes, static cheeks, and pursed lips, are list of expressions you and I own as much as the next person, all together they’d carry along a blank mind, no thoughts, no association.

Again, fleeting eyes and stoic faces, this time, a whirling in my mind at the contact of our eyes.

The velocity of a beat and the length of a vision, the gulping of a throat sends a feeling of uncertainty through my body.

The urge to flee, identical to the speed of their eyes crossing mine.

To cover up.

Hold back.

To let go. Curl onto oneself and protect from any thoughts to attack.

Fleeting eyes, static cheeks, and relaxed lips meant no harm, but the true enemy was never them was it?

Wake up.
