Here's to all the Mothers
That cook and scrub the floor
Who lay in bed with burdens
While hubby has a snore
Who deal with the issues
That go with family
Who buzz around like blue arse flies
Hardly stopping for a pee
You have earned this day of leisure
On that we can agree
So here's to all those Mothers
Have a double G&T.

We have Mother's Day in the UK 3 weeks before Easter. see my poem from about, oh, March19th. I forgot what I posted that day - mothers or not!
