Unbeknownst to you, you’re a celebrity
Within the Halls of Love
My poetry inspired by you
The universe of my heart thereof
Words of undying love
The cogs in my driving gears
Words I’ve penned for you
Read by many in recent years
Some may think
Quite possibly repetitious
But I’ll make it perfectly clear
My subject matter unsuspicious
My quest to find out how many ways
I can say “I love you”
I believe it can be said
“I’m well on my way” is true
When first I fell in love with you
I knew not a poet’s pen
And now I’ve amassed
A flock within a holding pen
I’ve written of your smile
The gleam in your eyes
Your mid-western drawl
And your heart that I fantasize
My curiosity thrives
Upon your reaction
To seeing your influence on me
