Waiting on the Drawbridge

PoetVids - I am WriteBeLight only in Video Version :)

The Bell sounds the tone,

They begin to lower the gate.

Now, get out of your car,

And, take a walk, and wait.

The cruiser powers by,

Wake behind its bow bent.

Time for you, to sail back home,

On the black, dusty pavement.
