A Clubhouse Of Pink

Jerry Wayne Lawrence

A Clubhouse Of Pink Is Across The Street. I Would Like 2 Go Over There & Play.

Day Goes Away Quick. This Night Is As Cozy As Any Storybook Fantasy.

Currently: I'm On My Way 2 The Pink Clubhouse 2 C If I Can Join.

Fun, Is All I'm Thinking On.

Soon As I Get 2 The Door, I Read: "Girlz, Girlz, Girlz". 1/2 Getting The Drift I Take My Chances With A Easy Knock.

Tock-Tick, Tick-Tock Goes The Clock As I Wait.

Spirit, Of Mine, Keeps My Hopes High Until The Pretty Voice From The Other Side Asks My Intentions.

Girlz Only, The Pretty Voice Says Calmly, But If We Did Admit A Boy He'd Have 2 B Pretty Damned Gay Or Something Like That.

Doubt Or Was It Good Ol' Common Sense Was Right, My Optimism Was Politely Dashed. I Shrugged It Off Nonchalantly & Wished Her A Good Night.

Delight Took Over My Heart By Way Of The Polite Bye She Gave Me B4 I Started Back 2 Where I Came From. It Alluded 2 Something Friendly As Far As Us N The Near Future.

Closure, Of Such A Notion: By The Time I Was Back Where I Was Supposed 2 B & Staring @ The Pink Clubhouse Comfortably. The Door Opened & The Pretty Voice (I Knew It Was Her) Was Waving @ Me Apologetically & Happily.

Smiley Faced Me Is All She Saw B4 She Went Back N & Shut The Door 2 A Clubhouse Of Pink.
