UNREQUITED LOVE

Pritam

In the shadows of my heart's domain,
Unrequited love, a silent refrain.
I watch from afar, a yearning gaze,
As your smile dances in the sun's embrace.

Your laughter, a symphony to my ears,
Yet you remain beyond my reach, my dear.
I offer my heart, but you don't see,
The love that blooms so fiercely in me.

Like a wilted flower, I stand alone,
Nurturing feelings I must disown.
A silent ache consumes my soul,
As unrequited love takes its toll.

But still, I cherish each stolen glance,
Finding solace in this one-sided dance.
For even in the depths of my despair,
I'll keep loving you, my heart laid bare.

Though unrequited, my love is pure,
A flame that forever shall endure.
In this silent story, I'll quietly stay,
Hoping one day you'll turn my way.
