Church

Sacred canon

Sacred icon

Sacred God

Sacred angels

Gospel news

Sacred space

Sacred people

Sacred ideology

Sacred words

Sacred prayers

Sacred souls

Sacred humans

Loving space

A place of tolerance

A place of kindness

A place for humans

When in war

When in crisis

Church leads

When I enter

When my baby boy enters

When my Ethiopian wife enters

The church is different.

When my son entered kindergarten,

Sunday kindergarten church returned my son

Tolerance became intolerance in the shadow of my black son.

Church is different from black skin.

We still loved the church in Europe.

But still, the European Church hates my skin.

Finally, we banned the church.

We banned the white gospel.

  • Comment from author about the poem: It is our personal experience with the church in Europe. Black people are banned from church. The Sunday kindergarten church teacher or church discriminates against black Christians in Western countries just like Hindu converted Christians ban untouchable caste Christians from entering Hinduized Churches in India just like Mosques ban untouchables in their Islamic Mosques. Untouchable castes, queer communities, and black communities are impure souls to mainstream communities across the globe and space.
