Maybe tomorrow

sophiethecat

Night is the hardest
my thoughts swirl in my head
they are like a symphony of nails
dragging across a chalkboard

Stress and anxiety
I want to be set free
from everything that drags me
d    o    w    n

What could I have done better
and what else should I have said
Or did I say the right things
And it's everyone else who did wrong

I cannot quiet my mind
it's so L O U D
and the dreams that will come later
will not soothe my worries

But I know that better days are to come
I just need to keep up the mantra
You got this, you got this, you can do it
I got this.
