DeChae

Andthenhewasnt

Pardon me for not being intricate with what I plan on doing, but truthfully I don’t need grand gestures or a wide variety of rhyme schemes to express what I want to say.

The simplicity of perfection,

Trickles down to a single word.

You.

And truthfully there is no truer me than the present, and what I represent is just a culmination of all things, good, bad, happy, sad, and everything in between.

I didn’t intend to cross paths like this most days I believe I don’t even exist I exit in any direction when things feel tense I repress all expression.

But then again the simplicity of perfection trickles down to a single word, you.

It can’t rain all the time I’m told, but I think I’m starting to like when it does, I appreciate the sunshine and what it brings but the rain is just soothing to the soul, tear drops are just the after effects of the storms that brew inside and inside I’m afraid to show what’s inside, refuse to wear my heart on my sleeves because they tend to bleed, the scars I have are reminders for me, the simplicity of perfection trickles down to a single word You.

Pardon me for not being intricate with what I plan on doing. I don’t need grand gestures or a wide verity of rhyme schemes to express what I want to say.

Stay, don’t go please.

I need you here with me.

Perfection trickles down to its simplest form you.
