Technology/Mental Health

sorenbarrett

Technology                            Mental health

The age of stone                    Blame and revenge alone

The age of copper                  Possessed exorcism will stop her

The age of bronze                  Locked away as we carry on

The age of iron                       Lobotomies ECT pills now our enviorn

The age of steel                      No advancement still

The nuclear age                     Pills still the rage

Computers and AI                Nothing new to try

CRISPR                                Still chemicals, prevention not a whisper

Man and his invention          Still no focus on prevention

Why do we always wait to treat

what with prevention we could defeat

    Amen!
    humanity's zeal for self-destruction
    is
    incomprehensibly, inapprehensible
    “Insanity
    is doing the same thing
    over and over
    and expecting, different results.”
Einstein said it best, we all be crazy!
    lol

Thanks L.B. in over 30 years of working with mental health I have seen little change. Like everything else it seems a cost issue. Thank you so much for the review and comments.
