Loveless

somethingdeep

Sunlight lays upon a plant

Frequently watered yet it stares at the ground

Withered despite all the love that surrounds

If its lowering in shame, it should breaks it’s back

Sunkissed and rainy clouds

Instead of being grateful, it makes a crunchy sound

The sound of a wilted bloom in pain

No matter the water it just withers away

Thirsty, still no one knows what for

Are the raindrops dirty?

What’s the difference from before?

It should blossom

It should sparkle with life

Yet it's so dark, it alomst feels like it's night

Maybe it is

It could be time to give in

Maybe this kind of plant needs to flower from within

when you feel empty no matter the love you're shown. Is it the love that isn't true? or it is beacause of you? I'm not sure, maybe both.
