The Beauty Of Making Mistakes

Bame Bame

There is beauty in making mistakes

Then again, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder

There is beauty beyond the pain

How sensitive are your pain receptors?

Some mistakes I've made, I wish life gave me a free pass

Mistakes are lessons, when did I enrol for this class?

Two wrongs don't make a right, why did I feel I could with three?

Some mistakes could have been prevented because the consequences were foreseen

But my creative side wanted to paint the red flags green

And my ambitious side took unnecessary risks because I believed I would win

I sometimes do things when I know I shouldn't, then beat myself up for days

I'm not where I want to be yet and I hope one day my self-doubt will fade

Overthinking everything is draining, no wonder I'm skinny

But it is more psychological than physical, stop trying to feed me

I'm not perfect and I think that's beautiful

You kicked me when I was down, how pitiful

I'm wiser now, I love the transformation

It wasn't an easy path to my own redemption

One day ill share my story about life's greatest lessons

I don't know how yet, but I'm open to suggestions

Because I know sharing wisdom is one of life's greatest successes
