Queen Without Kingdom

Vuk

In a tale of love entwined with betrayal's sting,
There lived a wife who danced on treacherous strings.

Her eyes sparkled with a seductive gaze, Flirting with danger, lost in a deceitful haze.

She whispered sweet nothings to her husband's foes,
A spider spinning webs, her loyalty in shadows.

Her secrets nestled deep within her heart,
A symphony of lies tearing their love apart.

For fifteen years, her charade went on,
As trust eroded,
their bond became undone.

He pleased for truth, for a change of heart,
But she clung to her falsehoods, tearing them apart.

In her web of deception, she reveled and played,
A Queen Without a Kingdom, her throne disarrayed.

Her laughter echoed through the halls of rain, Leaving her husband wounded, shackled in his pain.

The man, once patient, his well of endurance drained, His love for her diminished, his soul deeply pained.

He yearned for honesty, a chance to be free, But she resisted change, a prisoner of her own decree.

The walls of their kingdom crumbled in despair,
As he found strength within to let go and repair.

He walked away, his heart seeking solace anew, Leaving behind a queen without a kingdom, so blue.

Note:

For honesty and trust are the cornerstones of love, Without them, a marriage becomes a bitter shove.
And though scars may linger, wounds slowly heal,
He vowed to find a love that's genuine and real.
So let this be a cautionary tale of woe,
Of a wife who chose deception, refusing to grow.
May it remind us all to treasure truth's embrace, And let love's light guide us to a better place!
