Here Be Help

Tune: Saffron Waldon

(one tune to 'Just as I am')

Psalm 54

*********

Save me, O God, by your name strong

Defend me now and all life long

Judge me by your strength, it not fail

O'er enemies prevail

Hear my prayer, O God, and give ear

I do trust yet that you are near

Give ear to my words, help you will

Send, I be secure still

For strangers are risen up, they

Oppress me, seek my life, their way

Is without God, not in their thought

Nor have they here Him sought

Behold, God is my helper, He

Will come to my aid, rescue, see

he with those that uphold my soul

He will restore, make whole

To enemies, their reward He

Shall repay evil deeds, so be

Will cut them off, His truth remains

So He faithful, He deigns

I will freely sacrifice to

You, O Lord, and praise you anew

For your name is good, trustworthy

My soul does here agree

For He has delivered me here

Out of trouble and out of fear

I have seen His desire upon

My enemies, each one

Thanks N. Or is that Tesco? I was reading Asda might be nasty, and fire and re-hire some employees, and pay 'em less!

We all need to know that someone is on our side and that someone has our back. Why not the man upstairs?
