I was alone most of my life until the day we met
Wandered through the night searching for meaning lost my reason l along with my breath
The secrets that we swore turned into lies then something more try to deny that we've been running from the truth ever since
Really hate to let you down but I hope you know that I have you all that I had left
I would've gave ya my name
I would have given my soul
All you gave me was pain
You took my heart until the day you didn't want it anymore
I'll take a part of the blame
I'll take your shame and make it mine
What do you want me to say
I hate to love ya but I can't get you outta my mind
I was alone most of the time that you were by my side
Wander though my misery
Know it's killing me
Was I right or wrong
I can't decide
Am I staying or am I leaving
Give me a purpose
Give me a reason
What's the meaning of this stupid game you're forcing me to play
Hate the fact I need you don't believe you when you say you love me more everyday
Hate myself for loving you
And all the everything you've put us through
I'll say it if you want it's all my fault
Push me out to pull me in
It's time to say goodbye again
I don't know why you're all that I want
But I'd still give you my name
I'll give you all of my soul
I can take the pain
Give you my heart for you to give it back the very next day
I'll take all of the blame
I'll take your shame and make it mine
There's nothing left for me to say
I hate to love ya but I can't get you outta my mind
No there's nothing left to say
I hate to love you oh my God I must be out of my mind

- Comment from author about the poem: This is one of the only things I've ever wrote that means something to me. It's kinda obvious at least for me lol, but it's about loving someone who doesn't really love you and the back and forth that go into that kinda relationship. Anyway I hope whoever reads this likes it and please tell me what you thought I'm doing this for feedback.
