I'M SORRY

Bame Bame

I’m sorry I wasn’t there when you needed me

I’m sorry I couldn’t live up to your idea of me

I’m sorry I didn’t believe in what we could’ve been

I’m sorry this apology took long

It took a lot to admit I was wrong

I’m sorry I ignored you when you were in pain

The sad memories make me wish I could get hit by a train

I’m sorry I couldn’t wipe off your tears

Instead, I become part of your fears

My presence turned your smile upside down

All you tried to do was to keep your head above water

I can’t believe I let you drown

Is there such a thing as a legal crime?

What I did to you is worse than death

This is something I’ll live with till my last breath
