Squid Grilled Pa-Bo In Osaka

Kinsley Lee

In a small shop, there's an old owner, only.
Being not more than ten chairs, and there aren't many
Customers. But locals and visitors easily become friends
To the world, really something, the bustling tavern wends.

      that intimacy of seclusion
      while open to the world
a space extracted free of hustle
      a lifestyle, draped in meaningful
      Time
      stilled, a room where windows
      are devoid of twilight's bookends
      a meal, for our memories
      where we sip, from life
