Forgive Yourself

somethingdeep

Cowering in fear

Looking out at the water

Still on this lifeboat the feeling of death doesn't fade

Cowering in shame

Breathing turns to a myth as lightning strikes

Still on this lifeboat as the waves turn evil the guilt doesn't turn away

Land is far and as the days escape there is no victim on this boat

As erratic wind turns wicked, the lifeboats saftey seems at risk

Would one care for a trapped soul that cannot be seen?

A precious boat seems lost, there is no victim if it changes it's course

Would one only remember someone's beauty once they die?

idk about u, but I think that all poems should be read aloud. They just sound better that way.
