Would I fancy a bit of 'perfunctory' if I knew what it was exactly?! lol.
A leap of 'blind faith' by me, as I try, very un-culturedly, to unravel some cryptic poems.
Fido understand them perfectly of course. lol.
I was blind but now I see!
I knew an un-cultured or un-educated guy (me!) who spent so long finding out what Carpe Diem meant, that there was no time left in the day to seize. Well, I was looking in a fishing book for 3 hours. I thought it was a French fish - carpe? lol.
That is beautiful - carp koi poisson in lemon butter sauce!
Truth does seem to be a leap of faith these days, as you so eloquently say. How we will navigate that winding thoroughfare will determine our destiny. Good write my friend!
