Cherry Blossom

aiden.chmielarski

Burning down bridges leaves vivid diminished
Ash and grey
Soot covered like finish

Far too long without sunlight or pleasure
Fog and haze
But some like that better

Cherry pits ashed new life into mental
Rain and pour
Blooms Sakura petals

Sprouted from seeds stand beautiful flowers
Thick and thin
These roots are forever

a lovely read, thanks for sharing
    (deep roots, unbroken cultural anchors
    deft petals, short seasons
a blessing to witness and realise
    whilst we can...)
