Consequence of Love

Teddy.15

It's true that love

didn't kill, you or I

so why do I feel so dead?

if the consequence of love

was a death so deeply painful

then why do any of us

embrace it in the first place?

because to love is to share
    dear Poetess
    and we're at our best
when we can find a passion
    to share our life with
    and relationship's offer us
    an easy access
    to a fountain of passion
    however eternal
    or ephemeral its presence
    in our lives...
    (to love is to hope
    and life without hope
    is that devoid of music
    and laughter)
but then again, what do i know
    lol

We'll Hello dear orchi, and yes your lovers imagination is with KP so I suspect some days you ask the same question. LoL

We sacrifice ourselves for what we love and that is one of the meanings of life. There are far worse things than to die for love. Nicely written in such a succinct manner.
