Chosen

Tayama

How do I cross the moat to your heart?

How do I scale the walls to your eyes?

How do I draw near to breathe you in again?

How do I defeat all that want you that defend you?

For I know you want me…why do you pretend?

The denial of love tears at the fabric of the reason we exist…

When found and then denied…is an insult to life…

You will be old, and you will regret…

Don’t…jump…I’ll catch you and hold you and love you…

For the moment you turned and sensed I was there, I have been mortally in love with you…a pain that few ever feel or want…

Yet in my misery of waiting for you to decide…I have known love that even if I never touch you again…I’ll be one of the chosen…

Days disappear as we wait…a life of love occurs when we don’t…

I refuse to waste our love…stay there…I’m coming.
