Scars

mrharrell

He knew how painful recovery could be,

He had been through his fair share,

But no one had warned her.

And he gazed at her scars,

The marks on her skin,

Which she saw as horrid.

But, he saw them differently;

He saw them as beautiful symbols,

Of strength, resilience and power.

They were proof that she had survived;

Survived more than anyone could imagine,

And that she could brave the incoming storms.
