Late nights I toss and turn and sometimes cannot fall asleep
Struggling to keep my family at keep.
My fire tablet tuned online to Holy Family Radio WJTA
As Fr. Benedict of EWTN recites the Holy Rosary every night and every day.
At the same time I have my laptop set on You Tube
Watching the CSX freight trains go by.
A little town southwest of Toledo and north of Leipsic in God's country
A woman's sweet voice sings "I can't do it alone, but I can do it with you" (a reference to Jesus and Mary)
Sometimes I cannot fall asleep until midnight per se
But eventually I somehow doze off anyway.
The Crossroads Park intersects the Toledo subdivision southwards to Cincinnati at the diamond intersection
While the east to west double track line (called the Garrett and Willard subdivision)
Handles the frequent bulk of trains between Chicago and D.C. daily
As local and regional railfans camp out taking photos and home videos regularly.
Even "Jaw Tooth" and his video crew have visited there frequently.
The legacy of the B&O/C&O and the Chessie System repectively.
I probably will never drive up to that special railfan location
Yet I am already blessed with the live video of Crossroads Park (thanks to You Tube and Virtual Railfan)
Helps lull me to sleep eventually
Until the mornings alarm wakes me up in the early morning daily.
