Hello Out There

bobfallon

He awed

a very small audience

of his own creating,

compared to the available space,

his dad's big barn,

it had an echo.

His dairy cow,

two cats,

Red,

an Irish setter,

in and out, and Howard,

the hog,

in his pen,

gave their full attention

to the monologue.

And the entire listening radio audience,

tuning in for

"What's it all about anyway?

starring Popcorn Ball Hal

and his pals,

Lucky the cow,

Midnight and Blackie, two cats,

and Big Red, he'll be back

and I'll turn it over to Howard,

in the pen,

say you're sorry Howard"
