Home
Is where the heart is
They say

Home
Is where happiness is
They say again

Home?
What is home?
Where is home?
I ask

Where is my heart?
Where is my happiness?
I wondered

Eyes gathered tears
Thoughts ran through my head
I cried, screamed and shouted

I want to go home
But where is home
Where is my home

I want home
Home
Where are you?

Home
I need you.

My comments on the poem "Home” by Kele
This is a touching poem about searching for home. Home is the place that is supposed to give you bearings for you to navigate through this life. It has been said “Home is where you belong.” But what happens when you cannot connect to any home ?... You become an errant, wandering from place to place, looking for an anchor. Even when you leave home, you strive to make another place your home. Soman Ragavan. 8 June, 2023. //
