Cinderella

L. V. Adams

Anything for you my love,

I would do anything

I could be anything

I could be anything for you

For you are everything to me

I’m right here,

Those wandering eyes

Where are they going?

I see you searching for someone better

Please, forget her

Can’t I be enough for you?

The shoe doesn’t fit

So I cut of a part

Bleeding love

Bleeding heart

You don’t even notice

She doesn’t even have to try

Her hand fits effortlessly in yours

And your eyes never leave her

Intimate murmur, a secret whisper

I wish it was me, not her

I would do anything

I would do everything

I would give up

The moon and the stars

And Jupiter and Mars

To mean something to you

Anything at all
