“I’m sorry”
A simple message.
you responded.
“no”.
“No to what, to me apologising”.
“no”.
This again, great.
I asked why you were saying no,
You never gave me an answer.
I’m sorry, honestly.
“She cheated on you man”.
That’s what you were told.
By the boy who I dumped for you.
“I’m sorry.”
Silly little words.
Why am I apologising to you?
You were never there for me.
So why should I apologise.
You should apologise.
One date.
One kiss.
One conversation a day.
You knew you didn’t want me.
So why did you choose me?
“Honestly he likes you”.
Stupid words I was told.
Stupid words I believed.
Just a stupid girl who loved a stupid boy.
A shitty boy.
Take care of your new girl.
Once you break her you aren’t getting her back.
She’s nothing like me.
Hurt her once its over forever.
Im sorry for everything you did.
Its clearly all my fault.
I believed the silly little lies.

- Comment from author about the poem: This was written about one of my ex boyfriends who is now dating my best friend but I\\\'m sure other people could relate or know someone who can relate especially if you loved them but they didn\\\'t love you. Or they did just not for the whole time you were together
