THE BEAUTY OF DARKNESS

THE BEAUTY OF DARKNESS

There seems to be a beauty about darkness.

That makes life not seem so heartless.

Turning the lights down low, while playing music that touches the soul.

Helps me escape my reality, that keeps me thinking about my mortality.

Knowing one day we will die, life just passing by.

Sadness was growing by the day.

Wishing I could find my way.

I follow into the darkness, with both eyes closed.

Leading me down a dead-end road.

  • Eugene S.

Been there many many times. Me & Shostakovich, Me & Layne Staley, Chris Cornell, Eddie Vedder...

    Well expressed, and, again, relatable.
