The hug you needed that they rarely had, or you tried to give but was rejected.
The wishes they inconsistently gave which made you sad when you least expected.
The love you intentionally offered that was taken for granted and unreciprocated.
The kindness that wasn't available that left you feeling alone and underappreciated.

Thank you for the comment. I liked what I had done so far and felt like it was complete enough to create a meaningful poem, but maybe I would add more when I am ready to express even more in relation to this topic is what I meant in the comment.
