tattooedreverie

Church bells sing such a beautiful song

One that I do not know.

Finding comfort in the jolted song

While untied by fate.

Is it that time already?

Roses dancing in the wind;

The slice of a guillotine;

A laugh cut short.

It’s tea time.

  • Comment from author about the poem: A poem about a favorite song of mine. The song added goes with it. I've gotten quite comfortable with rhyming, though it won't be a feature in most of my poems. I have a few more I've been working on that I'm uploading soon.

    I want to start rhyming but I don’t want to be corny

      Haha, that's exactly how I feel! It takes me out of whatever I'm writing because I'm more focused on the words instead of the meaning.

        Ahh I like that though , thank you
