  My comments on the poem "Body” by anabasova
  
  You say the body never betrays you. It is the opposite, I am afraid. It has been said “Body language cannot lie.” Whatever our mind wants to put forward can be blocked by our body. Body language is what is used to detect accurately what goes on in the person’s mind. The contradiction between the words and the body language appear clearly. The mind has plenty of things to hide ; it puts forth the messages that are in our favour and hides those that will do us harm. The body does not care : it will just say plainly what is going on in the mind. So, the body stomps the mind. We all think that the mind controls the body : in reality, the body has power that overrides the mind. The way you fidget, you wring your hands, you shift from the right foot to the left, you glance across, you avoid eye contact, you shake, etc., all this betrays your deep thinking, the real you at that moment….
  
  “Truth is always bitter.”

  But then, everybody has their own “truth.”

    Totally, we always overpower it and never listen to what it needs. But unlike our mind it never lies to us, it doesn't know how to. The ideal would be to make them work together and not opposite eachother.
