the feeble poetic reply below

(that 'green room' of perhaps
a pretence of betwixt, coveting
assurances, while yearning
to throw that dice of innate
take a chance on ourselves
if only, our heart's and mind's
came with fireproof vests
to lessen those scorching
bruises, of life's menacing
indiscriminate, ill-Fate...)

I'm one to put out a wishlist or fill the online cart with those fireproof vests, we survive but the stinging and the burning aren't much welcome!
