tattooedreverie

Where does love go when you lose it?

Does it get dusty, sitting on the shelves of a heart

Like a book yearning to be read;

Or does it tear apart the mind

Desperate in it’s death rattle,

Aching to be seen?

I suppose that love is never quite lost,

It only seeks to be found.

  • Comment from author about the poem: My poems have been asking a lot of questions recently, and I think that's okay. Asking yourself questions is key to finding the answers you need. Have a lovely day today.

    Asking yourself (the hard) questions, is the best way to find out who you are and what you seek/desire! Beautiful poem!
