Nature's Treatment of A Weary Soul

Naima Bushra

In depth of despair, lying still and low

Questioning my creation, feeling worthless and slow

Then a whisper arose from within my soul,

Go outside and listen, let the nature console

I rose in uncertainty and no curiosity

But surprisingly when I met Nature's beauty

My soul took a new mold

Because nature has something finest showed

The air stirred the spirit of mine

The sun with its warming rays and eternal shine

I finally found peace in the nature's embrace

That brought a smile on a depressed face

Renewing my spirit a sense of freedom,

As nature shared with me its wisdom

I felt elevated and enlightened,

And thanked the everlasting and true company, for a withered soul been beckoned
