You Pulled Me Out Of The Bottle By Richard Martin 261 261
You reached down and pulled me out of the bottle
Where I had sunk as low as a man can go
You held on to me until I could stand on my own
And why you bothered, I guess I’ll Never know
For a while, I stood on my own and held my head up high
But again I started drinking, I have no reason why
I’m asking once again to hold me, till I can stand on my own
Where I can see clear again, and I won’t be alone.
I have no right to ask you, you’ve been through this before
But I can’t make it without you, so I’m asking you once more
To hold me once again, till I can hold my head up high
I promise this will be the last time, that I’ll ask you to try
