Beauty that Surpasses.

Nathan69

Thou art resplendent, fair and comely,
A countenance so effulgent and lovely,
With pulchritude that doth transcend all others,

thy beauty doth ascend.

Reminiscent of the poetic style of Shakespearean sonnets. The language is enriched with high lexical choices such as "resplendent", "effulgent", and "pulchritude", adding an air of sophistication and elegance. As it stands, however, the poem has a promising start and a classical charm that's intriguing but appears to leave one hanging and waiting to read more of the poet's work.
