Gave up the ghost

peto

Lend me your eyes

Lend your ears lend your time

All I despise

Disappears in the rhyme

Throw me a line

Add some bait throw that look

All that is mine

As of late I've mistook

Give me some hope

Drop a clue show a sign

There's a slippery slope

Skating through our decline

Grant me one wish

Say your piece without fear

Bitter the truth

With the proof crystal clear

Reach for the hand

You once held with such pride

Rewalk the land

This time bold as the bride

Take me to task

Take my life take me out

Slip off the mask

Hold your knife to account

On the wind a young bugler

Perfects the last post

The same day he decided

To give up the ghost
