Tune: Lasst Uns Erfreuen = Let Us Rejoice
('All creatures of our God and King')
Psalm 8
*******
O Lord, how excellent your name
In all the earth, it e'er the same!
Alleluia, Alleluia!
You who have true set your glory
Above the heavens, bright and free
Tend your creatures mercifully
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!
Out of mouths of babes and sucklings
You have ordained strength, and each brings
Alleluia, Alleluia!
Praise and worship, that you silence
Enemy's avenger's presence
For you great Creator they sens
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!
When I your heavens consider
They the work of your fingers sure
Alleluia, alleluia!
The moon and stars which you have made
In the skies are to us displayed
We believe you them all arrayed
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!
What is man, that you are mindful
Of him? And e'en to people all?
Alleluia, Alleluia!
What are we, that you us visit?
Our lives as vapour and as mist
But loving us you not desist
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!
You have made man little lower
Than angels, and do him endower
Alleluia, Alleluia!
With glory, honour you him crown
Not biding 'neath and angry frown
You lift us up when we be down
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!
You mad man to have dominion
Over all your works, e'en each one
Alleluia, Alleluia!
Have put all things under his feet
While you reign, your throne is your seat
All things made y you whole, complete
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!
All sheep and oxen, beasts of field
Appointed man power to wield
Alleluia, Alleluia!
O'er them, and birds, fish of the sea
And whate'er else in life there be
Your name great in earth lastingly
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!

Thanks L. Someone found a hymn tedious - too many Alleluias in it. Doh!
Not I! 😉
