    Poetry to me is EXPRESSION, derived from an overflow of deep feelings/ experiences. So, yes, emotions are very much involved. Consciousness of the mind as well, but this is more complicated since it has to do
    with awareness. Both subjective. The more aware I am, the clearer my emotions/thoughs become and I can better translate them into poetry/art.
