Pebbles

Ajax (he/xe)

I found a pebble, on the beach

it was shaped like a heart.

it made me think of you,

and how you make mine fall apart.

I found a pebble, on the beach-

it reminded me of you.

It was Caramel-brown, like your eyes

the ones you see me through.

I found a pebble, on the beach,

and I was drawn to it, somehow.

I don't know when, i don't know why.

but I'd like to keep it close, if you'd allow.
